In this ever-changing world of Hair & Makeup Artistry, you must have a diversified skill set in order to stay competitive. I recently sat down for an interview with Michael White, the Hair Department Head for the critically acclaimed film “Milk.” Michael White is not just a hair stylist, he is a true artist. Recently Mr. White was nominated for a BAFTA award for his period work on “Milk.” For those of you who are not familiar with The BAFTA Awards, they are the British equivalent The Oscars. Previous BAFTA winners for hair and makeup have been “Pan’s Labyrinth” and “The Chronicles of Narnia.”

One of the things that makes Michael such an amazing artist is his philosophy that you can never learn enough, which is a philosophy that we share at The Hair & Makeup Artist Network. Starting on February 14th, Michael White and Celebrity Makeup Artist Noseph Trinh will be teaching a class on Men’s Hair Cutting & Grooming.
